Range organization is the place where the IKEA range comes to life. It's all products you can buy in the stores worldwide.
What is UX team doing there?
There is also the whole system of digital solutions that ensure we can build physical products and sell them in the stores. That is the scope for the UX team part of Data & Tech.
UX team is ensuring that all our digital internal and external solutions enable effective and efficient value chain. From Range strategy, physical product development and collaboration with suppliers, to communication, planning experiences, Home smart, and interaction with end customers and users.
What is UX assignment?
We design purposeful and delightful experiences for the people who use IKEA products and services and for the people who design, develop and manage our range.
With a curious and inclusive mindset, we put people at the heart of design to try and understand their perspective. We aim to design experiences that have a positive impact on people and the planet.
What does it means that you’re managing the User Experience team?
My responsibility are UX people, process, purpose, and experience of products on strategical and tactical level.
